Monday

I think I've lost my motivation to go to the gym. When it's a new place it's always more interesting and you are motivated to go...and I was enjoying spinning, now it just seems blah. At my gym there is a points program, so the more times you go the more points you get and then they give you money that you can spend at the spa or store within the gym. Maybe that will motivate me... The other week I bought a package for massage, facial, manicure...I need to set up that appointment...

Last night found some ants in the bedroom...ergh. We've fumigated every room but the bedroom because you have to move everything out of it because the spray is very smelly...but I guess that will be a task for sometime this week. I need to get some motivation!!

Fiesta Sant Celoni

So this weekend was the Festa Major of Sant Celoni. Since it's a pretty small town we didn't do too much, but we did take some time to stroll around and see if there was anything interesting. Friday we just went on a walk and people watched, and Saturday we were planning on making a trip to Tarragona to see Roca de Sant Gaieta...but we ended up going to Sitges instead. We searched for parking in Sitges for quite a while, and then ended up going to a part of the beach that was like sitting on construction site sand...all dusty and full of cigarette butts...needless to say we didn't stay there long. We decided to go for a long walk to the city center instead, unfortunately we forgot money so we couldn't stop and get a snack or a drink. We made it back to the car later on and moved closer to the town so that we could stop for a drink. We went to a place called Picnic, typical little restaurant to have a drink. So I got a clara and Asser got a Coca-Cola and we had some cheetos shaped like soccer balls called Pelotazos. Then we saw someone eating Patatas Bravas so we decided to have another drink, this time I got a Mojito. Spent an hour there then got back in the car to do the windy carretera and we decided to stop in Gava so Asser could show me where he used to live. We ended up calling his friend Dani, who he hadn't seen in 2.5 years and we chatted with him and his gf for a bit then headed back home. Sunday we were lazy and went out around 6pm to see more of the Festa, but the Danses del Mon was boring so we went on our own walk and then back home for snack, computer time, and dinner. After dinner around 11 we headed to the town square for the Correfoc, basically a bunch of firecrackers...but it didn't end up starting til after 1am...so we waited for 2 hours. But it was fun and I'm surprised no one gets burned because the firecrackers are right over you and all the sparks just fly at people.

Now it's Monday and it's back to the work week. It was a rough end of the week last week and I hope this week is better...the weekend was good though. Can't wait to go to Egypt in October!
